Course Delivery/Duration
This course is delivered with both a practical and theory element to the training. The course will be run according to the needs of the student. Our qualified assessor will come to your site (or you can bring your machine to us) to conduct the assessment and provide you with the relevant training.
Course Description
In general a business must ensure that people engaged in earthmoving must have received sufficient training, instruction and information to correctly follow the specific procedures using some discretion and judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge.

Key Elements
The RII Performance criteria ensures they are skilled on their chosen piece of plant. RII Qualifications were established as a nationally recognized qualifications for both the civil construction and the mining industry.
Pre-Requisites
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must have current or previous evidence of holding a valid motor vehicle drivers licence (not a permit). Applicants will be required to undertake pre-course reading to ensure an understanding of the learning content that will be reviewed in the class contact time. These materials will be supplied to the participants upon enrolment and payment of the course. Basic English skills are required.
Assessment Process
The course incorporates a variety of knowledge and theory based questionnaires and practical demonstration.
Outcome
Upon successful completion participants will be issued with a wallet card and the following nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the plant.
What to Wear
All course participants are required to wear appropriate work attire, including closed-toe shoes and long trousers.
Morning Tea and Lunch
Participants are required to provide their own refreshments.
